We would like you to be comfortable at the wedding and reception. Given the outdoor setting and despite the six in the evening ceremony, black tie is not requested. When selecting shoes please take into consideration the ceremony and portions of the reception will be on grass.

This lovely hotel is situated in the heart of downtown Aiken. It's a great alternative to The Willcox Hotel which sadly is unavailable during our wedding weekend. Located 1.6 miles from the Palmetto Golf Club.

Travel

Take a walk through the Hitchcock Woods, an 2100 acres urban forest. There are loads of walking paths and entrances all over Aiken.

Hitchcock Woods Foundation

Take a trolley tour of historic Aiken. Saturday mornings at 10 AM. Reservations encouraged. Leaves from the City of Aiken Visitors Center and Train Museum.

Historic Aiken Trolley Tour

Established in 1912, the Donald Ross designed course is right downtown Aiken and open to the public.

The Aiken Golf Club

Walk along Laurens Street, Aiken's main street, stopping to shop and grab a bite to eat.
